b) What personal data do we process and for what purpose?

The personal data provided (data of an identifying nature, personal characteristics, academic and professional data and particularly sensitive data) are processed for the purpose of dealing with complaints and other information received through the University's ethics channel and executing the procedure in accordance with Law 2/2023, of 20th of February, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption.

c) To whom will your data be communicated?

Within the framework of the aforementioned processing, your data will be communicated to the competent authorities in the event that it is necessary in accordance with the applicable regulations.

d) What is the legal basis for the processing of your data?

The legitimacy of this processing is based on compliance with a legal obligation in accordance with Law 2/2023, of 20th of February, regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption.

e) What security measures do we apply in the processing of your data?

The security measures that apply to this processing of personal data are those determined in the Instruction on security measures applicable to the processing of personal data at the URL.

f) What are the rights of the interested parties?

The interested parties have the following rights contemplated in the current regulations on the protection of personal data:

  • Access
  • Rectification
  • Deletion
  • Opposition, including profiling
  • Limitation
  • Portability
  • Not being subject to automated decisions.

You may exercise these rights by means of a written communication, detailing the request with reasons, addressed to the postal or email address of the Data Controller identified in point a).

g) How long will we keep your data?

The data will be deleted in the terms provided for in the documentary evaluation tables, approved by the National Commission for Access, Evaluation and Selection of Documents and in accordance with the specific applicable regulations.
